Sharing Your Game

PUM Companion makes it easy to share your adventures, back up your progress, or keep a record of your stories. The app offers several ways to export your game, so you can choose the format that works best for you and your audience.

Export Options

You can export your game in different formats:

  • PDF Booklet: Create a printable PDF that looks great on standard paper. This is ideal for archiving or sharing a polished version of your story.
  • PDF Mobile: Generate a PDF optimized for reading on phones and tablets. The layout is more compact and easy to scroll.
  • Markdown/Text: Export your game as a Markdown (.md) file. This is perfect for editing, sharing online, or converting to other formats.

What Gets Exported?

When you export your game, the following information is included:

  • The game’s title and (optionally) your player signature.
  • All your journal entries, including who spoke, titles, and answers.
  • Character and entity information (if you choose to export an entity).
  • Images and formatting, if you choose PDF export.

  2. Choose Export Save Game to export your save file for backup or transfer.
  3. Choose Share your story to export your game as a PDF or Markdown text file.
